Two images taken in mid-April were released to the public on Thursday evening. The first shows Princess Estelle, daughter to the Sweden's crown princess, kissing her baby cousin on the forehead.
Princess Estelle met her new cousin on a trip to the US, when her parents were on an official trip but also took the opportunity to spend time with Princess Madeleine and husband Chris O'Neill.
The second picture shows Princess Estelle playing with Princess Leonore's small foot.
Princess Madeleine shared the first picture with her own followers on Facebook, with the comment: "A cousin is a ready-made friend for life".
