Tarjei Istad, the head environmental prosecutor for Norway's white collar crime agency Økokrim, said on Wednesday that the three men had been let go, although they are still charged with illegal wolf hunting.
"We see no reason to keep someone incarcerated through Easter," he said. "Everyone has made a statement and we have secured evidence, so there is no reason to keep them in custody any longer."
