Unknown assailants used a large stone to smash the back window of the couple's car in the early hours of Thursday morning. It was the only car in the parking place to be damaged.
It was the third attack on Roy and Håkan in recent weeks, leaving the pair baffled as to who in the town of Kinna is out to get them.
"I don't understand who means us such harm," Håkan told Sveriges Radio (SR). "It's extremely troubling."
A few weeks ago, their car was targeted by vandals who scratched "fag" and other sex-related words onto the car's panels. There was also something resembling a swastika scrawled on the vehicle, according to SR.
The attack provoked a strong response from the local public, hundreds of whom held a demonstration against hate crimes in the town square.
Despite the protests, Håkan was attacked anew soon after while walking his dog. Police have not managed to find the culprit. Roy and Håkan have been left wondering whether the village really has room for two gays.
"We don't want to live here anymore, but it's not like you can just pack up and move either, that's not so easy," he told SR.
