Every language has certain words or phrases that just do not translate into English. but German has more than its fair share.
From the feeling of solitude one gets whilst walking in a forest, to the urgent sense of panic when you feel time running out, we hope that you might be able to incorporate these new words into English.
But then again, some might be only really suited to the German psyche – building society saver, for instance, or Kehrwoche, the cleaning rota used in a block of flats.
