It's either a ski chalet in the French Alps, which is on the market for €955,000 ($1,322,000) or a villa overlooking the Côte d'Azur on the French Riviera which is going for a slightly cooler €840,000 ($1,163,000).
Essentially it’s a choice between the snow and the slopes or the sun and the sand. Mountains versus beaches. Terrace versus cosy fire. Fondue versus sardines.
Given that many people enjoy both beach cocktails and vin chaud, picking between the mountains and the seaside may not be easy.
Take a look through this slide show and let us know which one you would prefer. Alternatively, if mountains and beaches are not your thing. You could try last week's property face-off between Brittany and Provence.
