Brother’s death too much for cross-country star
Astrid Uhrenholdt Jacobsen, the Norwegian cross country skier whose brother died on the eve of the Winter Olympics, has returned home to Norway, a team official said on Tuesday.

"It was her own decision to return," said spokesman Gro Eide. "It was too hard for her to focus."
Jacobsen reached the women's sprint free final in Sochi, finishing fourth, and then competed in the 10km classic where she finished 19thHer final race was with the 4x5km relay team where she was fifth.
