Google's search engines have a habit of trying to finish your sentences, but what do their predictive algorithms have to say about Spain and the Spanish? We've chosen some of our favourites.

It's a question many Spaniards and expats wants answered: what does the rest of the world think of Spain?
 
Well, the answer is closer than you think, and it doesn't involve sending out millions of questionnaires either.  All you have to do is use the auto-complete function of the Google search engine.

We typed in phrases like "Why is Spain  so…" and "Why do the Spanish…” and even "What do Spanish think of…" and our friend Google provided the rest. 
 
While not the most scientific method of all time, this handy little Google tool does give you a good idea of what the rest of the world wants to know about Spain and the Spaniards.
 
Google’s predictions are based mostly on what other people around the world are searching for, although they are partly based on your own Google profiles and previous searches on the computer you’re using.
