Ronningsbakken, famed for his death-defying balancing acts, reached speeds of up to 80 km per hour as he raced his bike down the winding road from the top of Trollstigen, an 850m high mountain in Rauma Municipality, Norway.
With no safety equipment apart from an ordinary cycling helmet, he wove through the oncoming traffic, as the camera followed him down.
Ronningsbakken previously cycled near-naked on a tightrope between two mountain peaks in Norway and in 2010 announced plans to do a one-handed hand-stand from the top of Burj Khalifi, the world's tallest building.
