Set up in 1948, the awards pay homage to a range of celebrities and the ceremony in Berlin on Thursday was no different.
Miley Cyrus won a Bambi in the International Pop category while Bill and Melinda Gates were given an award for their philanthropy.
Judges awarded Victoria Beckham a Bambi in the fashion category for her clothing line and her award was presented by designer Karl Lagerfeld.
Organizers described the Bambis as “a tribute to those whose abilities have dazzled and inspired the people of Germany. All the nominees have one thing in common: they have achieved something extraordinary.”
The Bambi is presented in categories including film, fashion, sports and outstanding social commitment.
