Valencian arquitect Luis de Garrido prides himself on having built homes that "excite and make their occupants happy".

The house featured in the video below is a design project based around the idea of what sort of house the Barcelona star might like.

The football-shaped house is "intrinsically related" to who Messi is and what he represents, Garrido said.

Messi's family, meanwhile, say the Argentinian forward has no plans to move and he is quite happy where he is.

de Garrido works with sustainable architecture in Spain, only accepting projects where very strict ecological, health and environmental criteria are always respected.
