The converted church – St. Anna in the Rose Garden – nestles in the picturesque Neckar Valley near Heidelberg and the Rhine.
Built in the 12th Century, it once served as a seat for the Swabian dynasty of south-western Germany.
The tower, inlaid Italian marble flooring and original stained-glass windows have been carefully preserved.

The attic features beautiful oak beams, the vaulted cellar – complete with a well – has a shiny dolomite floor and the tower’s spiral staircase is made of sandstone.
Even the bathroom taps are worth a look.
