Revelations emerged on Friday that the Swedish National Defence Radio Establishment (FRA) has a close partnership with the US National Security Agency (NSA) and British GCHQ, according to information provided to the European Parliament.

Stockholmers had mixed reactions when asked how they felt about privacy online. Some claimed they didn’t care about Sweden’s approach as they “had nothing to hide”, with others sharing their discomfort about how much of their information was available to the public.
One man even said that he had no problems at all with the system, and that “Swedes are conditioned to this way of thinking”.
