The school will be open to children of all nationalities, Il Gazzettino reported.
Lessons will be taught in Italian, Chinese and English, by native speakers.
The new venture includes a nursery, primary and secondary school, and will be open to day students and boarders.
The school will be managed by Li Xuemei, a professor of Chinese at the Ca' Foscari University in Venice.
Professor Wang Fusheng, from the University of Trieste, will serve as the school’s coordinator.
The Chinese community forms the largest non-EU group in Italy, after Moroccan and Albanian citizens.
In 2012, the Italian statistics agency, ISTAT, found there were 277,570 Chinese people legally living in Italy.
