“I am so angry when people ask me about ‘happy ending’. I work hard and I’m proud of my profession,” Pornpinum Meejaii at Salong Nong in Malmö told the Sydsvenskan newspaper.
Meejaii has worked for 27 years in the industry and has had enough of Swedish men getting cocky when booking massages, an occurrence she faces several times a week.
“They ring and ask if I can massage their willies. I ask if they want a ‘happy ending’. They say yes. OK, I answer, hurry up and come here. Then I explain that I have scissors in the salon. I tell them that I will cut off their willy and throw it on the street,” she explained.
Now, Meejaii has posted a sign on her store front window explaining in no uncertain terms (and in capital letters) that there will be “No intimate massages”.
The number of Thai massage parlours are on the rise around Malmö, with over 50 currently in operation. The story is the same in many of them, according to the Sydsvenskan. But while the recipients of the massage may think it’s all a bit of fun, Meejaii is hurt by the coarse and constant requests for sexual gratification.
“They think that I don’t know anything, but I am also a person. I get sad in my heart when they ask such things,” she said.
