Disgraced ex-politician goes topless for mag

You would have thought mother of two Olvido Hormigos, 42,  would have wanted to keep a fairly low profile months after making embarrassing headlines across the world last year.

Hormigos, a primary school teacher, became Spain’s most famous ever local councillor in November when an X-rated movie she had made was leaked online.

The graphic video, which showed her masturbating in bed alone, went viral and Hormigos was forced to step down “out of respect” for family and colleagues. She blasted the leak as a "breach of her private life".

One can only guess what her family and friends made of the latest images of Hormigos that will send pulses racing across Spain.

This week the former councillor for the town of Los Yébenes, near Toledo, appeared topless on the front cover of the magazine Interviu.

Speaking about her public shame in an interview with the magazine, Hormigos said: “I was very ashamed that people saw me like that. People thought I was made of ice, but it was horrible, I had to get on with my life.”

Hormigos now seems to have decided that her future lies in the world of celebrity rather than back in politics. As well as the magazine shoot she recently appeared on the Telecinco programme "Mira Quien Salta" (Look who jumps), pocketing €30,000 in the process.

However she has clearly not forgiven the so far unnamed culprit who was responsible for her downfall as a councillor.

“The only thing I want is that the footballer, the recipient of my video who I was with for three months who walks through the village as though nothing has happened, pays for what he did.”

The shoot has grabbed the attention of many national news sites and provoked a fierce debate among readers over whether Hormigos' breasts were real or fake.
