“Due to lack of air traffic controllers at the control centre in Røyken, air traffic to and from Oslo Airport Gardermoen, Moss Airport Rygge and Sandefjord Airport Torp may be delayed between 30 minutes and two hours during the afternoon of July 20,” airport operator Avinor said in a statement.
Avinor said the control centre had been properly staffed earlier in the day but “acute illness” had meant that air traffic capacity had to be reduced.
Avinor advised passengers to show up as planned for their flights and await instructions from their airlines and flight operators.
