Clooney is set to visit the Swiss city for fundraising events on August 27th, according to Charles Adams, an American lawyer and a representative of the Democratic Party.
The movie actor plans to speak at a reception for 150 supporters paying $1,000 each, Adams told the Tribune de Genève newspaper.
The event will be followed by a dinner for 50 people coughing up $20,000 each ($30,000 for couples) for the privilege of breaking bread with Clooney.
The events will be closed to the general public.
Adams, a resident of Geneva, is co-president of Americans Abroad for Obama, a group that supports the Democratic president’s bid for a second term.
He organized a similar event with the actor in Geneva’s Old Town four years ago that reportedly raised more than $900,000.
Clooney is a devoted Democrat and a long-time supporter of Obama since the politician’s time as a senator for Illinois.
The actor recently used his star power to raise $15 million for the president at a dinner held at Clooney’s Hollywood home.
