According to police, none of the women were in any condition to resist the man’s advances.
The most recent attack is alleged to have taken place on Saturday night, before the suspect was finally arrested near his home on Monday, newspaper VG reports.
One of the victims accuses the man of drugging her before subjecting her to violent sexual abuse as the camera rolled.
The suspect denies committing an offence, according to his lawyer, Steinar Thomassen. He does, however, admit having had sexual relations with two of the women named in the indictment, one of whom is his wife.
“Police say the women were in no state to prevent what happened. He disputes that in the first two cases. He does not admit giving them narcotics. He disputes there having been any sexual relations in the last case,” Thomassen told the newspaper.
Police have in their possession two films depicting the rapes of unconscious women, both of which will be used as key pieces of evidence against the suspect.
A remand hearing is scheduled to be held at Sør-Østerdal district court on Tuesday.
