Swedish teen shocked by ‘wonky boob’ insult

A few weeks ago the girl sent a text message to 118 800, a directory assistance service which offers users contact information as well as answers to other general questions.

In her inquiry, the 14-year-old girl asked who she was, according to the Dagens Nyheter (DN) newspaper.

A few minutes later, the girl received the following answer:

“XX is a girl with boobs that are too big and wonky who likes to pretend she’s a blowfish at the clubs at Stureplan with random Syrian disco princes. Sometimes she blogs and one notices she only has 3 percent of her brain left because she’s injected it into her lips.”

The girl and her mother shocked by the lengthy response and have reported the matter to police.

“This is a form of verbal sexual assault,” the girl’s mother told the newspaper.

A police spokesperson told DN that the message would most likely be considered a form of general insult that wouldn’t result in criminal charges, although the family could opt to pursue a civil case against the company.

Markus Öhman, the CEO of 118 800 told the newspaper that the company was “sorry” that the messages “slipped through” despite clear guidelines.

“It was just mean and not funny,” he told DN, adding that he had since spoken to the employee who sent the message.

“He thought he was sending it to another person.”
