David Koubbi, a lawyer for Tristane Banon who accuses Strauss-Kahn of assaulting her in a Paris flat in 2003, said “it is absolutely necessary” for French prosecutors to question Hungarian economist Piroska Nagy.
In a letter sent to prosecutors, Koubbi said Nagy, whose affair with Strauss-Kahn earned the Frenchman a formal reprimand from the IMF, could provide information about Strauss-Kahn’s “habits” in dealing with women.
Prosecutors told AFP Sunday that they have not received Koubbi’s request.
A New York judge on Tuesday dismissed sexual assault charges against Strauss-Kahn, which stemmed from allegations he attacked a maid at his luxury hotel suite in New York in May.
