According to the Credit Suisse annual Youth Barometer, 45 percent of the 16-to 25-year-olds surveyed picked “the integration of foreigners” as one of the “five most important issues to watch in Switzerland”.
Unemployment came second at 39 percent, followed by retirement pensions at 36 percent, climate change at 34 percent and energy concerns including nuclear energy at 27 percent.
The results are largely unchanged from the previous survey held last year.
According to the bank, youth unemployment stood at 2.7 percent in May, when the survey questions were answered, far below averages in the developed world.
The barometer was based on an online survey of 1,012 young people.
