Man injured by egg thrown from speeding car

The victim, an unidentified man who was walking along a Basel street on Monday evening, had to be taken to the hospital, the Corriere del Ticino reported. Investigators are now looking for witnesses.

The thrower, who was reportedly driving in a small white car with two or three other people, also previously attacked another passer-by with a carton of milk and a woman with another egg, the paper said.
