A 47-year-old Swedish man, who owns a car firm in Florida was arrested by federal narcotics police in a operation together with Swedish and Danish law enforcement services. A further three men have been arrested in Sweden.
The US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) have had the Swede under surveillance for an extended period of time and when they raided the man’s car show room they found ten kilogrammes of cocaine in the door of a Lincoln and a further two in a Ford Explorer, Expressen reports.
According to the newspaper’s source the cars were scheduled for shipment to Gothenburg.
A further one kilogramme of the party drug was found on the 47-year-old when DEA officers made their arrest.
The Swede has not yet made any contact with either the foreign ministry or the Swedish embassy in Washington D.C..
