Temperatures are set to slowly rise to culminate in a warmer Sunday, the DWD said from their headquarters in Offenbach.
As the weekend approaches, southern Germany will see warmer weather and sunshine. Temperature highs will reach between 16 and 24 degrees Celsius (61 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit).
Friday’s forecast is variable, including rain in northern Germany and showers and thunderstorms across the nation later in the day.
The weekend will remain rainy, with low temperatures between 8 and 13 degrees Celsius (46 and 55 degrees Fahrenheit) set to rise to between 18 and 22 degrees Celsius (64 and 72 degrees Fahrenheit) on Saturday.
Sunday showers are expected in central Germany, with rain possible in the north of the country. Temperatures are expected to stay between 20 and 24 degrees Celsius (68 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit).
