Gottfried Böhm – Rocks of Concrete and Glass
There’s a church in the town of Neviges whose vast concrete form erupts into irrational peaks like a manmade mountain range. Designed by renowned architect Gottfried Böhm in the 1960s, the Pilgrimage Church is one of the world’s most remarkable architectural landmarks. Get a closer look at some of the projects Böhm worked on in Cologne, as well as some of his sculptures, at this exhibition, which ends Sunday.
