“Our investigation will show whether she is also guilty of some form of dereliction of duty,” police spokesman Mats Grundström told newspaper Dagens Nyheter.
The woman’s superiors contacted the police after finding her lying semi-unconscious beside a quantity of Ketalar, a ketamine-based anaesthetic commonly used as a recreational drug.
She was immediately treated by medical staff at the hospital. Police have not yet been able to question the suspect, who is reported to be in her fifties.
