No region will suffer single-digit temperatures, meteorologist Jens Joffman said, adding that normal November temperatures tend to average between six and ten degrees Celsius (43 and 50 degrees Fahrenheit).
The southern reaches of the country will be especially pleasant, with temperatures in Stuttgart and Freiburg ranging bewteen 16 and 17 degrees Celsius. But the northern states of Berlin, Brandenburg and Saxony might also enjoy spring-like temperatures in the early part of the week.
But Germans will have to be quick to plan any impromptu outdoor grilling sessions to enjoy the last of the fall colours, because chilly seasonal weather will return with a low front by late Wednesday. Temperatures will fall again to between four and ten degrees Celsius, with the snow expected at altitudes about 1,000 metres (3,280 feet).
