“Good job,” said the 60-year-old male teacher to the girl following a class presentation, as he patted her backside, reports the newspaper Metro.
The teacher claims he patted the girl on the shoulder, although admitted that he had praised the same student several days earlier for her red lips.
In its ruling, the district court acknowledged that the incident was short live, but serious nevertheless because the man committed the offence in his role as the girl’s teacher.
Education administrators must now decide whether the teacher, who has 36 years of experience, should be allowed to continue teaching.
