Sweden eases into Eurovision final

The 33-year-old mother of two was widely expected to cruise through from the second semi-final and Perrelli did not disappoint.

But the Swede will have to hit every high note if she is to fend off the challenge of her younger female rivals from hotly tipped Greece and Ukraine, not to mention an ambitious violin and rollerblade combo from Russia.

Perrelli will perhaps be relieved not to have to face Ireland’s Dustin the Turkey, whose frantic Eurodisco floor emptier Irelande Douze Pointe was eliminated in the fist semi final earlier this week.
