The man was found guilty of aggravated possession of child pornography.
The police investigation against the man concerned the two to three million pictures, but the indictment was limited to only 50,000 pictures and 407 video and film clips, TT said.
The man admitted to the possession charge, and said he was attracted to 12-year-old girls. He said he had downloaded child pornography pictures from the Internet every day since the early 1990s.
The man said he only used the child porn himself and did not buy or sell it.
