Teenage girls in hit and run robbery

Three teenage girls robbed a Lidl supermarket in Älmhult in southern Sweden on Saturday. They assaulted a cashier and escaped with a sum of money.

An argument erupted between the girls and the cashier who took blows to her torso and face as the girls cleaned out the till.

“There was a scuffle but the cashier did not require medical attention,” said Frederik Svärd at Kronobergs police.

The three girls, reported to be around 17-years-old escaped in a car heading south. They are reported to have stolen an unknown sum of money.

No weapons were used in the robbery.
