“Trading in Nokia shares on the Stockholm exchange has fallen over the past few years,” said Anna Svensson, spokeswoman Nokia Scandinavia.
Another reason for the move is that the Helsinki and Stockholm exchanges have been integrated through the OMX Nordic Exchange, making separate listings in both cities unnecessary.
Nokia is also delisting in Paris and London, but will remain listed in Helsinki, Frankfurt and New York.
The approximately 100,000 Swedish Nokia shareholders were notified of the change in February. A reminder was sent last week.
“I believe that all shareholders are informed,” said Svensson.
