Christian Democrat secretary quits

The Christian Democrats' party secretary Urban Svensson is leaving his job. He intends to leave politics and begin selling motrobikes in Länna, a town just south of Stockholm.

Party leader Göran Hägglund is to present a proposal for a new party secretary in the near future. The party executive will then decide on a new secretary to replace Svensson, who has had the job since 2002.
