“The man was arrested in Lund and immediately transferred to Gothenburg,” on the southwestern coast, a police spokesman in Lund told AFP.
Police declined to disclose any other information but in its online edition, tabloid Aftonbladet identified the man as Abdi Qeybdiid, the right-hand man to late Somali warlord Mohammed Farrah Aidid in the 1990s.
